Western Swimming Club was formed in 1976 by members of The Western Sun Club.

1) General
The Club shall be known as "Western Swimming Club".
The aim of the Club shall be to provide naturist swimming and leisure facilities.
The Club shall maintain membership of British Naturism.
2) The Committee
The Club shall be administered by the Club Committee.
The Club Committee shall consist of at least three members elected each year at the Annual General Meeting (the AGM). These shall include the Chairman, the Secretary, and the Treasurer.
The Club Committee shall also act as the club safeguarding officers and are required to attend, on average, at least 25% of the sessions per year.
All club members may stand for election once they have been a member for at least one year.
All positions on the Committee shall be offered for election each year.
3) Finance
The Club's financial year shall run from 1st April to 31st March.
Any surpluses shall be re-invested in the club or shall be donated to another non-profit organisation or to a UK charity.
4) The Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The AGM shall be held within the first two months of the financial year.
Members shall be given at least two weeks’ notice.
The meeting shall include reports from the principal officers.
5) Membership.
A Member of the Club is an adult who has completed a Membership application, provided Photo ID, with proof of address, and has been accepted by the Committee.
The Club Committee shall issue Conditions of Membership and shall ensure that every Member complies with these Conditions.
The Club Committee has the authority to refuse or cancel Membership, but shall provide a reason.
Persons attending Club functions shall do so at their own risk. Neither the Club nor the Committee shall be liable for any loss or injury however caused.
6) Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults
The Club Committee shall follow the recommendations and good practice detailed in the current British Naturism Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy.
Unacceptable behaviour involving children and vulnerable persons shall be reported to the Police.
7) Visitors
The admission of visitors to Club functions shall be at the discretion of the Committee.
All visitors shall need to provide Photo ID, with proof of address and agree to their details being logged on a computer by the club officials.
